These data files contain the data described in "The turbulent wake 
of a circular cylinder rotating about the streamwise axis" by 
D.H. Wood, P.L. Peterson & P.D. Clausen, Experiments in Fluids 
16 (1994).

The quantity in each file is identified by the character part 
of the filename so that meanu is U, meanv is V, etc., in the 
co-ordinate system defined in fig.1 of the paper. The last part 
of the filename identifies the experimental conditions as in 
Table 1 of the paper.  Thus 30-194 indicates  S* = 0.30, 
x = 0.194 m, etc. 

Only the results from the main text are available.
The results in figs. 2a, 2c, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 are all for 
S* = 0.57, x = 0.394 m (57-394) while the U results in fig. 2b are
for S* = 0.30, x = 0.394 m (30-394). 
Fig.s 3 and 4 contain results at various values of x.

Each file contains a header and two columns.  The first column is 
r*theta where r is the radius and theta is the circumferential angle
whose origin is simply the first sampled point. 
Each file contains results from the four radial locations, with
90 data points per radius.
Thus 	lines 1 - 90 are for r = 0.10 m
	lines 91 - 180 are for r = 0.08 m
	lines 181 - 270 are for r = 0.06 m
	lines 271 - 360 are for r = 0.04 m
	lines 361 - 450 are for r = 0.10 m, repeat

There is a line of text in the files indicating where the data
for a new radial location begins.
