Mesh

Two different meshes were used. One fine with 29160 cell and a maximum y+<1 The second mesh has the same distribution around the cylinder but the first cell off the wall is at y+>11.8 with 22824 cells in total.

Description of the results files

Text file called Nu.dat Data in columns separated by spaces. See the header for details. The first column is the angle theta around the cylinder. The second is the instantaneous value of the Nusselt number and the third the averaged Nusselt number.

Boundary conditions

Turbulence intensity at inlet = 0.34%. Two different approximations used for the length scale at the inlet yielding very different results with k-epsilon and wall function approach. The wall function used was the standard type. No slip wall used at the cylinder walls for SST calculations. The files are named with the model and the inlet turbulence intensity (High, 4% or Low, 0.34%) and the Reynold number (High, 89000 or low, 36000)
