Description of the results files

The files contain experimental data for both Reynolds numbers: Re= 64590, P/D = 1.12 and Re = 38754, P/D= 1.06.

  • The files "Position*Re*.dat" cotain profiles of:

y/ymax, y+, U/Ub, U+, k+, u'/u*, v'/u*, v'/u*, w'/u*, u'v'/u*^2, u'w'/u*^2, -v'w'/u*^2, T'/T*

  • The files "frictionvelocityRe*.dat" contain profiles of the friction velocity as a function of angles.

Boundary conditions

The flow is fully developped at the measurement position, thus periodic boundaries with pressure or mass flow rate correction can be used for numerical studies.
