Description
Flow through an infinite heated vertical channel, the two walls being kept at different temperature, and a constant pressure gradient driving the flow upwards. The gravity forced induced by the density gradients acts upwards (buoyancy aiding flow) near hot wall, and downwards (buoyancy opposing flow) at the other side.
Flow Parameters
The Reynolds number, based on the channel half-width and the friction velocity is 150.
The Grashof number, based on the channel width and the temperature difference, is %$9.6 \times 10^5$%
