Code: Code_Saturne
Version: 2.0
Authors: D. Monfort
Method and Numerical Options
An adaptative time-step is used (idtvar=1), specific for compressible flows.
Models
Laminar
Mesh
As Code_Saturne is purely 3D solver, the 1D tests have been done on a succession of cubes (3D cells) to represent the 1D mesh. The results presented herebelow are obtained with a rather coarse mesh of 200 cells.

Discussion
As no modification has been done in the current version of the code (compared to 1.3 version), no mesh sensitivity has been done. The reader can refer to the previous validation report for more information on this topic.
As a general conclusion, the results presented here-below are identical to the ones of the previous versions. Thus, only one graph per configuration is shown to highlight the, expected, Courant number sensitivity. It should be noted, in particular, that the density remain positive in the case of the symmetrical double detente.
