Different behaviour

The DF-SEM shows an higher frequency component than the SEM. This is due to the different velocity distribution than the eddies have (check this page). In fact the DF-SEM eddy has two different lobes!!

Furthermore, there must be a relation between the higher frequency and the eddy length scales, which is clipped (check this page)

Pressure and its fluctuation - problem

I have a problem with the pressure fluctuations!! Basically both the pressure range and the pressure contour is different in each simulation. In here I plotted (from top to botton) a DF-SEM channel flow, a SEM channel flow and a modified SEM channel flow. All the simulations are performed with exactly the SAME parameters, but the inlet generation of course!!
